Iranian Film Festival to host ‘Sara and Aida’

‘Sara and Aida’ is slated to be screened at the Iranian Film Festival in Serbia.

Directed by Maziar Miri, the movie will appear on the screen at the 19th edition of the event which is currently underway in Belgrade.

The festival inaugurated on Tuesday in the presence of Iranian political and cultural figures and citizens.

‘Sara & Aida’ narrates the story of two close friends. "When the reputation of one of them is in danger, both of them try to help solve the situation. But how far will they go to support each other?" a synopsis for the film reads.

The film is stars Ghazal Shakeri, Pegah Ahangarani, Mostafa Zamani, Saeed Changizian, Tina Pakravan, and Shirin Yazdanbakhsh.

‘Sara and Aida’ won the best Feature Fiction Film award in a section titled "Film from Asian Continent" at the 10th Jaipur International Film Festival in India.

The 19th edition of the event kicked off February 4 and will go on for a week.
